There are different modes of Efficient Cleaning, where first is "Sweeping & Mopping Mode" which works with 2-in-1 tank and another is "Sweeping only" Mode which uses 550ml large dust box.

Along with this, there's a very interesting feature which is Intelligent Mapping and Route Planning. Here company claims that there's a new LDS Laser Navigation System works with an upgraded SLAM algorithm for real-time mapping, faster speed, high accuracy, and longer scanning range. The robot smartly deals with complicated surroundings and scans the entire floor meticulously. It has a scanning range of 8m with a scanning frequency 6 * 360deg /s.

The robot comes with a thoughtfully designed cleaning path for sweeping and mopping mode created for Indian Homes. It can simulate the manual mopping effect with dual direction repeated wiping for an intense deep clean of the stains on the floor.

The 12 sets of high-precision sensors help in an accurate depiction of the surroundings. Powered by an anti-collision and an anti-drop sensor, the device makes accurate navigation, crosses obstacles up to 2cm height, avoids any fall from the staircase and senses the surrounding environment intelligently.

According to Xiaomi, it is Engineered with an electronically controlled pump, it comes with 3 gears of water dispensing modes and water clogging prevention mechanism. User can choose modes based on the intensity of cleaning and the type of floor you want to clean.

It connects to the Mi Home app to explore a lot of options like remote control, real-time mapping, scheduled cleaning, spot cleaning, etc. Here, you can set a virtual wall via app to avoid cleaning restricted area like carpets or washrooms without having to purchase any additional accessories.

After the first cleaning, it navigates, identifies and saves the location of each room in the form of a map. Save, merge, divide and name any room through the app, so the next time you want to clean a room, all you have to do is select the zone and initiate the cleaning.

There is a star feature which we really want to highlight is - "The devices can automatically go to its charging point and resume cleaning from the breakpoint if it ever runs out of battery midway".

It also has powerful data processing capabilities, the quad-core Cortex-A7 processor, coupled with the dual-core Mali 400 GPU helps in powerful computing performance which results in the quick collection of data and information processing. In conjunction with the SLAM algorithm, it can build maps in real-time and plan more reasonable cleaning paths.

Crowdfunding of the product is already started 4 weeks ago but after mass production, the shipment of this product will be started Sep 15 onwards to the customers.
